Cleaning and Storage

ATTENTION!
■ Remove the plug from the mains socket before cleaning the device.
■ The double blade is very sharp! Please take care when using the device in order
to prevent cut injuries!
■ Clean the device after every use to prevent the formation of germs.
■ Never touch the device, mains cord or plug with wet hands.
■ Never immerse the device, the mains cord and the plug in water or other liquids and
make sure that there is no risk of them falling in water or getting wet.
■ Allow the device to cool down completely before cleaning it.
■ Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents and cleaning pads to clean the
device. These could damage the surface.
■ The device is not dishwasher-safe!
Some foodstuffs such as carrots may cause staining of the measuring and mixing
cup. This is not harmful to health and does not impair the functionality of the
device.
1. To clean the blending attachment, separate it from the motor unit by turning the motor
unit in the direction of the opened lock symbol.
2. Wipe the motor unit with a slightly damp, soft cloth and then dry it with a soft cloth.
3. Clean the blending attachment and the measuring and mixing cup with clear, warm
water and a little mild detergent. Make sure that you do not touch the double blade
with your hand.
4. Carefully dry the measuring and mixing cup.
5. Allow the blending attachment to dry completely, reassemble the device and store it
away in a clean, dry place that is inaccessible to children.

Troubleshooting

If the device stops working properly, fi rst check whether you are able to correct the
problem yourself.
Do not carry out any repairs to the device, the mains cord or the plug
yourself!
Problem
The device does not work.

Possible cause / solution
• Is the plug inserted in the mains socket correctly?
• Is the mains socket defective? Try another mains
socket.
• Check the fuse of your mains connection.
• Hold down one of the on / off switches to switch on
the device.
