Safety Instructions

This device may be used by persons with impaired physical,
sensory or mental abilities or who lack experience and / or
knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed on
how to use the device safely and have understood risks arising
from using the device.
The device may not be used by children. Children and animals
must be kept away from the device and the mains cord!
The device is not a toy!
Never immerse the device, the mains cord and the plug in water
or other liquids and make sure that there is no risk of them falling
in water or getting wet.
The device must always be disconnected from the mains power
when it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling
or cleaning the device.
Do not make any changes to the device. Also do not replace the
mains cord yourself. If the device, the mains cord or the plug of
the device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer
or customer service department or a similarly qualifi ed person
(e.g. specialist workshop) in order to avoid any hazards.
ATTENTION: Please note the cleaning instructions in the
"Cleaning and Storage" chapter!
Dangers of Injury
Keep the device and packaging material away from children and animals. There is a
risk of injury and suffocation.
ATTENTION The double blade is very sharp! Please take care when using the
device in order to prevent cut injuries!
Risk of injury due to rotating device parts! Keep clothing, jewellery, hair, hands
and other body parts away from the device so there is no risk of catching yourself or
anything else in the rotating parts of the device.
ATTENTION Danger of burns! Be careful when puréeing / chopping hot food. Allow
hot food to cool down a little before using the device in order to avoid burns.
Make sure that the connected mains cord does not present a trip hazard. Do not
allow the mains cord to hang over the edge of tables or kitchen counters. Others
may become caught and pull the device down.
Always allow the device to cool down suffi ciently before you clean it and/or store it
away.
