– Assembly of ball siphon with wall mounting Variant 2
Installation preparation:
Loosen and remove the four star handle screws on the front cover. Remove sealing strip and pull the
cross counter flow heat exchanger from the unit.
1. Insert locking mechanism up to the stop in the mounting part incl. sealing ring (Fig.11).
2. Mount mounting part to the wall with the provided screws/ dowels (Fig.12/19).
Position the wall mounting, so as to ensure a sufficient gradient to the condensation outlet
(Fig.19) of the KWL unit!
3. Attach siphon housing and lock into mounting part with a ¼ turn (Fig.13)
(NOTE: Ensure that the floating ball is in the housing!)
Installation on unit:
1. Insert the provided T-shaped metal grip in the slot of the counter screw (Fig.14).
2. Attach provided washer to the counter screw (Fig.15).
3. Insert counter screw from above through the bottom tray of the ceiling unit (Fig.18).
4. Tighten the condensation outlet from below on the thread of the counter screw (Fig.16).
Do not over-tighten! The plastic can break!
5. Align the condensation outlet in the desired position (Fig.17).
6. Then insert the condensation outlet DN 12 mm (not in scope of delivery) in the hose connector of the
siphon housing and tighten by hand.
7. Connect the condensation hose DN 12 mm (length max. 5 m) to the drainage systems of the unit
(siphon). In the process, lay the condensation hose on a gradient (Fig.18/19). This is indispensable for
a proper condensation outlet.
– The drainage pipeline must not rise behind the siphon!
– The condensation outlet must be frost-proof!
– The ball siphon must be cleaned regularly!
