TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

The Spiroline HP high-pressure system consists of:
• distribution panel (DP1)
• air supply hose
• waist-fitted belt coupling (Spiroline belt) with facemask or breathing apparatus
• hose reel for air supply hose (accessory)
The waist-fitted belt coupling with facemask or a QS bail-out set/breathing apparatus
is connected to an air source via DP1 with the air supply hose.
DISTRIBUTION PANEL (DP1)
DP1 comprises an automatic shuttle valve, warning whistle, pressure gauge, adapter
hoses and a connection to the air supply hose and air source. The connections to the
air sources are suitable for both 200 and 300 bar.
The following accessories are included with the DP1:
• "OPEN" sign
• Venting handle
• Carbine hooks (two)
If both adapter hoses are connected, the automatic shuttle valve connects
automatically to the air source with the higher pressure.
When the supply pressure falls to 55 bar, the warning whistle sounds and the air
source must be replaced.
The adapter hoses are fitted with vent valves to reduce the pressure.
The pressure in the air source currently in use can be read off on the pressure gauge.
Check valves prevent reverse flow when the pressure in the system is reduced.
