Detecting malfunctions
Never open motors, electronic components or the remote control yourself. The manufacturer will not
accept any liability if the motors, electronic components or the remote control are opened by someone
other than uncertified maintenance staff. New components and parts must be purchased from the
manufacturer.
Malfunction
The bed cannot be adjusted
using the remote control
The massage motor will not
start.
The lamp does not work.
The lamp makes a rattling noise
when the massage motor starts.
The remote control makes a
creaking noise or the display
flashes.
I cannot play any music on the
remote control.
It is difficult to remove the USD
card from the remote control.
I have added my own music to
the remote control but it is not
displayed in the menu.
The music I have added to the
remote control sounds distorted
or is played at the wrong speed.
The remote control screen is
constantly black.
The joystick is loose or gets
stuck.
After a while, the remote control
loses contact with the bed.
Check

when you lower the joystick.
3.
Do you hear a peep when you try to

of the remote control when you hold it
vertically, with the screen facing down?
5.
Do white lamps flash briefly when
you move the joystick?
6.
Is the bed connected to the power
supply?

Does a green lamp start flashing on
the control unit when you briefly press the
red button?

facing upwards.
-
Check that nothing is wrong with the
batteries and that the bed is connected
to the power supply.
Resolve
1.
Move the bed by turning the remote control
over so that the display is facing down.
2.
Replace the batteries. If that does not work,
contact your supplier.
3.
Either the safety sensors are blocked, or they
are out of position. Check the space between the
sensor and the reflector on both sides of the bed.
4.
If not, contact your supplier to arrange delivery
of a remote control that does work.
5.
Check whether the USD card has been inserted
into the space under the flap. The first 500 remote
controls need a USD card to function.
6.
Insert the plug into the adapter and insert the
small, round DIN contact into the lead which comes
out of the head end of the bed.
7.
If the power has been connected and the
control unit does not light up when you press the
button, contact your supplier to have the control
unit replaced.
8.
Activate the remote control on the bed (see
manual).
9.
Check whether the bed is physically prevented
from moving. Contact your supplier to have the
necessary repairs carried out.

re-insert.
Use a small knife or a small screwdriver to extract
the USD card far enough to get hold of it on both
sides. Some USD cards have a sticker on the rear
which hampers removal. You can carefully scratch
off this sticker to make it easier to insert the card in
the future.
Convert the files to the correct wave format and
make sure they have the right extension.
Refer to the instructions for use to find out how to
transfer music to the remote control.
If nothing appears in the display, contact the supplier
for a new remote control.
