On this model of stove you can use as a fuel wood or pellet wood. So, you can choose 4 working modes.
To choose the working mode (see point 12.4.1.1 of this manual) you have to gain access to "user menu 1", and entry to the submenu "heating/
working manage", then choose among the different options:
-
"Pellet mode": the stove only works with pellet.
-
"Wood mode": the stove works as a traditional wood stove.
-
"Combi 1": the stove starts working with wood and it should be lighted by manual, helped by fire starters, paper, etc., when the wood is
consumed, the stove automatically works with pellet.
-
"Combi 2": the stove starts working with wood, but in this case, it is the pellet which cause the combustion of the logs (automatic light).
When the logs are consumed, the stove goes automatically into pellet working. If reload the combustion chamber with logs, the stove
goes into wood mode.
WOOD WORKING
In wood mode, the draught is natural, it means that the fan smoke doesn't work.
The light can be made by:
-
MANUAL LIGHT: "only wood mode"
In order to do a good ignition of the stove, it is necessary to follow the next steps:
a.
You must be sure of having connected the stove to the electrical network and press the ON/OFF button of the display. In this way
the security thermostat could warn you of an overheating of the stove. Thus, the use of the stove without electricity in "wood mode"
could lead the overheating on the stove, and could cause important damages on the stove and finishing the guarantee that Bronpi
Calefacción provides to the product.
b.
Open the stove door. Open completely the primary air intake control.
c.
Insert a fire starter or a paper ball and some wood splinters into the chamber.
d.
Light the paper or the splinter. Close the door slowly and leave it half-open 10 or 15 minutes while the glass is heated.
e.
When there is flame enough, open the door slowly in order to avoid smoke returns and load the fireplace with dry wood logs. Close the
door slowly.
f.
When the logs are lit, use the regulators located on the frontal part (primary air intake) in order to control the heat emission of the stove.
This regulator should be opened according to the heating needs. The best combustion (with minimum emissions) is reached when the
main part of the air for the combustion passes through the secondary air regulator.
-
MANUAL IGNITION: "mode COMBI 1"
If you choose this operation mode and you wish the ignition of the stove with wood, instead of pellet (automatic ignition), simply follow the
previous steps from point b.
-
AUTOMATIC LIGHT: "COMBI 2 mode"
This mode allows burning the logs by the combustion of the pellet. So you can make a logs load inside the combustion chamber and provoke
the ignition of the logs helped by the automatic ignition of the pellet, without the need of using a fire starter or paper to make fire.
To ignite the stove like this, we have to place the logs inside the combustion chamber in the way that the pellet burner must be at least l/3 free
(without covered by the logs); in order to the pellet can fall down the burner and lead the combustion.
Through the display and pressing more than 2 seconds button "P2", the pellet ignition starts and allows burning the logs.
After several minutes the logs are lit, and we can use the regulator located on the frontal part (primary air intake) in order to control the heat
emission of the stove. These regulators should be opened according to the heating needs.
In addition to the air regulation for the combustion, the draw also affects the intensity of the combustion and the heating performance of your
equipment. A good draft of the stove needs a reduced regulation of the air for the combustion, while a lack of draft needs a good regulation
of the air for the combustion.
Due to safety reasons, the door must remain closed when the fireplaces is being used. You should only open the door for loading the
fuel in case of logs.
In order to refill the fuel, open the door slowly, open the primary air intake, introduce the wood and close the door. After 3-5 minutes, return to
the combustion recommended regulation.
Do not overload the equipment (see maximum fuel load). Too much fuel and too much air for the combustion can cause the
overheating and, therefore, damage the stove. The breach of this rule shall invalidate the warranty.
PELLET WORKING
In pellet mode, the draught is forced, it means that the fan smoke works.
In some of the modes chosen to the pellet working: "only pellet" mode, "COMBI1" and "COMBI2" mode, the ignition of the stove is automatic,
so we cannot make a manual ignition of the pellet.
Through the display and pressing more than 2 seconds button "P2", the pellet ignition starts. The stove will make the ignition procedure
for several minutes and then it will go into the working procedure. Thus, you should choose on display the set-point temperature and the
combustion power of the stove.
