4.1 Product identification

5 Assembly and Commissioning

1. Observe the Ex guidelines as per EN 60079-14.
2. The installation of electrical devices must be carried out in accordance with
applicable national regulations and performed or supervised by an electrical
specialist (in compliance with TRBS 1203 or equivalent).
3. Compare the information on the device with the information in the operating
instructions before installation.

Assembling when under pressure or voltage can lead to injuries.
Make sure that all relevant system parts are not under pressure or voltage

before assembly.
4. Fit the sensor into the T-slot (any mounting orientation).
5. Install the sensor protected against mechanical impact and UV light (depend-
ing on the requirements/operating conditions).
6. Install cables with protection or provide for strain relief.

6 Care and Maintenance

The described sensors are maintenance-free.

7 Disposal

Dispose of the product in accordance with the national regulations in your

8 Troubleshooting

Replace the sensor in the event of malfunctions or failure.
