• ECG, FL and PL lamps generate high starting currents,
which reduce the useful life of the relays integrated in
the motion detector.
• Connection of small inductive loads with the 3-wire
D
motion detectors: The INFRAcontrol has a condenser
(33nF/X2) parallel to the relay contact for fault elimi-
nation. When connecting small inductive loads such
as impulse relays, relays, or contactors, the current
GB
can cause „sticking" through this condenser, meaning
the inductive load remains active in spite of an open
relay contact (and/or hums). In this case, a resistive
NL
base load must be switched parallel to the inductive
load, such as an incandescent lamp 230 V/5–7 W.
