17. Based on the work order string, the PLC program detects that no cap should be mounted.
18. Joining station conveyor motor on
19. When a work order string has been detected, the stopper cylinder is retracted.
20. The deflector is activated.
21. Since no cap will be mounted, the deflector is retracted again.
22. The workpiece is stopped at the joining station's second RFID write/read head for reading/writing.
23. The RFID tag is updated with the workpiece status.
24. Joining station conveyor motor on
25. The workpiece is detected at the end of the first conveyor.
26. Sorting station motor on
27. Workpiece is detected at the start of the sorting station's conveyor.
28. Joining station motor off
29. Workpiece in downstream station

38. A cap is detected at the start of the second conveyor.

40. The pick & place module suction grips the cap.
41. The pick & place module joins the cap and the workpiece.
42. The pick & place module returns to its initial position.
43. The deflector is retracted.
44. Joining station motor on
45. The workpiece is stopped at the joining station's second RFID write/read head for reading/writing.
46. The RFID tag is updated with the workpiece status.
47. Joining station conveyor motor on
48. The workpiece is detected at the end of the first conveyor.
49. Sorting station conveyor motor on
