MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar with European facing to 94/20/EC A50-1
D 2 M10 x 30mm Bolts, Special Cage Nuts, Lock Washers, Flat Washers (20mm O.D)
D1 1 Left Hand Side Arm
D2 1 Right Hand Side Arm
E 4 M12 x 110mm Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers & Flat Washers (25mm O.D)
E1 4 25mm O.D. Bushes 68mm Long
F 1 ZEP35 Electrical plate (not shown)
CB 2 M16 x 50mm Coupling Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers
FITTING
1. Remove bumper and the steel crossbeam attached to the rear panel. Locate the 4 dimples in the rear panel (at
852.5 ctrs) and drill holes of just sufficient size to insert bushes (E1).
2. Ensuring all mastic is removed from contact faces loosely attach Sidearms (D1) and (D2) to chassis using the
Special Cage Nuts and bolts (D) (see sketch below). Note: on some vehicles it may be necessary to enlarge
aperture in chassis slightly to enable the cage nuts to be inserted freely.
3. Loosely attach Cross Bar (A) to rear panel and Sidearms (D1) (D2) using Bolts (E) with Flat washers, ensuring
bushes (E1) are fitted correctly inside chassis.

Tighten all Bolts.
5. Refit steel crossbeam and bumper - Note: it is advisable to protect the lower edge of bumper whilst refitting over
the crossbar as it can easily be damaged.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm , M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
