Using the refrigerator

Setting the temperature
The refrigerator reaches its ideal temperature within four hours of being
switched on. WAECO therefore recommends that you switch it on several
hours before you start your journey, and putting pre-cooled food in it.
220/240 V operation
The temperature is only controlled by thermostat during 220/240 V AC oper-
ation.
➤ For sufficient cooling during normal use, set the thermostat to 3 or 4.
➤ Set the thermostat higher for a lower temperature or if it is hot outside.
12 V DC operation
The refrigerator cools constantly during 12 V DC operation.
Gas operation
When running on liquid gas, you can partially regulate the temperature using
the gas cock.
➤ At ambient temperatures above 25° C or if you frequently open the door,
put the lever of the gas cock in the " " position.

Making ice cubes
Caution!
Do not put bottles or cans of fizzy drinks in the freezer compart-
ment, as they will burst in the cold.
➤ Fill the ice cube tray with water up to 3mm below the edge.
➤ Put the ice cube tray in the freezer.
➤ When operating at 220/240 V, set the thermostat to "7".
This is the quickest way to make ice cubes.
