that is designed for use with a
particular type of battery, there is
a risk of fire if it is used with
other battery types.
b) Only use the rechargeable
batteries intended for the power
tools. The use of other batteries
may lead to injury and risk of fire.
c) When not in use, keep the
rechargeable battery away
from paper clips, coins, keys,
nails, screws or other small
metallic objects that may
bridge the contacts. A short-
circuit between the rechargeable
battery contacts can lead to
burns or fire.
d Fluid can escape from the
battery when used incorrectly.
Avoid all contact with this. In
the event of accidental
contact, rinse with water. If
liquid should get into the eyes,
get medical assistance. Battery
fluid may result in skin irritations
and burns.
e) Do not use a damaged or
modified battery. Damaged or
altered batteries may behave
unpredictably and cause fire,
explosion or personal injury.
f) Do not expose a battery to fire
or high temperatures. Fire or
temperatures over 130 °C can
cause an explosion.
g) Follow all charging instructions
and never charge the battery
or the cordless tool outside the
temperature range specified in
the operating instructions.
Incorrect charging or charging
outside the permitted
temperature range can destroy
the battery and increase the risk
of fire.
Service
a) Have your power tool serviced
by a qualified technician using
only original replacement
parts. This ensures that the
safety of your equipment is
maintained.
b) Never service damaged
batteries. All battery
maintenance should only be
performed by the manufacturer
or authorized service centres.
Safety Instructions for Battery
Operated Tackers
a) Always assume that the power
tool contains staples. The
careless handling of the tacker
can lead to unexpected ejection
of staples and injure you.
b) Do not aim at yourself or other
nearby people with the power
tool. Unexpected triggering will
eject a staple, which can result in
injury.
c) Do not operate the power tool
before it is firmly seated on the
work piece. If the power tool
has no contact with the work
piece, the staple may bounce off
of the attachment site.
