Install guide bar and chain

Unscrew the Sprocket cover
knob 11.
Warning! The saw chain is
very sharp! Wear protective
gloves. Risk of injury!
(1.) Put the saw chain 9 into the

guide bar 10 in the right running
direction.
(2.) Fit the guide bar 10 into the
motor housing 13. Place the
saw chain 9 around the sprock-
et.
Fill in chain oil
1
(1.) Open the oil tank cover 1,
carefully.
(2.) Fill the oil tank to the MAX
mark and close the oil tank cov-
er 1.
Adjust length
1
Loosen the length adjustment
coupling 14 by turning it into
the indicated direction.

Remove the sprocket cover 12.
Caution! When attaching the
chain, observe the running
direction!
(1.) Attach the sprocket cov-

er 12 by tightening the Sprock-
et cover knob 11.
(2.) Straighten the saw chain 9
with the chain
wheel 2 until it can be pulled
2-3 mm off at its middle.
Switching on/off

(1.) Press and hold the release
switch 6.
(2.) Press the On/Off switch 15
to switch on the machine. Re-
lease the On/Off switch 15 to
switch off.

(1.) Set the motor housing 13 to
the desired position.
(2.) Tighten the length adjust-
ment coupling 14 by turning it
into the indicated direction.
