Transporting the Power
Tool
Always switch off the power tool,
remove the battery, move the retain-
ing latch to ‚locked' and fit the chain
scabbard – even when you carry the
unit for short distances. This avoids
the risk of the motor starting unin-
tentionally. Carry the unit properly
balanced by the drive tube – cutting
attachment behind you.
Transporting by vehicle
Properly secure your power tool to
prevent turnover, chain oil spillage
and damage.
