MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Tube
G 2 M12x140x1.75mm Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (50mm O.D)
J 2 M14x60x2mm Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and 4 Flat Washers (27mm O.D)
K 4 M14x40x2mm Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and 4 Flat Washers (27mm O.D)
U 1 M10x25x1.5mm Bolt, Nut, Lock Washer and 2 Flat Washers (25mm O.D.)
ZEP1 1 Electrical Plate

FITTING
Lower spare wheel (in boot, lift dust cover, unscrew bolt). Remove small side splash panel each side, rearward of

rear wheels (two self tapping screws).
Attach Cross Tube (A) using Bolts (J) with Spacer (D) between Cross Tube (A) and vehicle, and with washer fitted

to other side of valance. More recent vehicles will require one additional spacer (D) to be added to both sides.
Remove rear wheels, attach Sidearms (C) as shown, using Bolts (K and G), and Bushes (F), with washers

orientated as shown and bolt heads (G) on outside of chassis rail (i.e. wheel side). Push Cross Tube (A)
upwards (bend bumper tags out of the way) and orientated correctly, and Tighten all bolts.
Refit rear wheels, raise spare wheel and attach splash panels. Attach preferred neck to Cross Tube (A) with

Electrical Plate Angle (ZEQ2) on left side.
The Electrical Plate (ZEP1) can be positioned to the right or left of the towball (as shown). It can also be attached to

the Electrical Plate Angle (ZEQ2) using Bolts (U).
Notes: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
All bolts should be checked periodically for tightness, the interval depending on frequency and duration of towing.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: Grade 8.8 M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
