A 1 Towbar Mainframe
C 1 Right Sidearm
D 1 Left Sidearm
E 2 M12 x 35 x 1.75 Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (25mm O.D)
F 2 M12 x 45 x 1.75 Bolts, Lock Washers and Large Flat Washers (40mm O.D)
G 2 M10 x 35 x 1.5 Bolts, Lock Washers and Large Flat Washers (40mm O.D)
ZEP2 1 Electrical Plate
For use with either
RN73BQ Detachable neck option – ZQ2008. Please refer to ZQ fitting instructions for installation.
RN73AQFDetachable Flange neck options – ZQF2008. Please refer to ZQF fitting instructions for installation
FITTING
1. Remove and disconnect rear light clusters (remove 3 nuts and gently pull cluster rearward).
2. Remove bumper (For the Sports Saloon: remove 6 popping fixings along top edge of bumper, 2 self tapping
screws on rear side of each wheel arch, 6 screws on underside of bumper) (For the Sports Tourer: remove 4
screws around the light cluster, 3 self tapping screws on rear side of each wheel arch (1 hidden behind
overlaying mud flap), 7 screws on underside of bumper) gently pull bumper tips outwards and upwards before
gently pulling bumper rearward.
3. Remove bumper reinforcement beam (hand to customer), the left hand side plastic bumper stiffener, rubber
chassis rail blanking plates, spare wheel and jack/polystyrene assembly.
4. Insert Sidearms (C and D) into chassis rails as shown, loosely attach using Bolts (G). Note: Holes in chassis
rails for Bolts (F and G) are covered with tape.
5. Loosely attach Towbar Mainframe (A) to Sidearms (C and D) using Bolts (E and F). Note: On left side, access
for socket/extension bar for Bolts (F) is obtained by lifting up boot trim (remove 4 torq screws hidden under
caps), moving foam insulation and removing blanking plug on outer skin of rear wing, or by removing the air
vent on the side of the chassis panel. Tighten All Bolts.
6. Seal ends of chassis rails with tape and / or replacing rubber chassis rail blanking plates (after cutting relevant
slots for Sidearms (C and D), sealant or expanding foam to prevent ingress of water. Bend bumper tags down
while reattaching bumper. Note: Protect outer face of bumper from Towbar Mainframe (A).
7. Replace trim, bumper, spare wheel, jack/polystyrene assembly, and rear light clusters.
8. Attach preferred neck and Electrical Plate (ZEP2) as per separate instruction. Note:
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
