1 Safety information
1.1 General safety
Connect the device only as follows:
- in combination with a mains rectifier to the alternating current circuit
- with the connecting cable contained in the scope of delivery to the
cigarette lighter or to a 12 V socket in the vehicle (see figure 1, page 3).
The appliance shall not be exposed to rain.
Never pull the plug at the connecting cable out of the cigarette lighter or
the socket.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced with same type and
rating AC cord in order avoid a hazard.
If the unit shows visible damage, you may not put it into operation.
Repairs on this unit may be executed only by specialists. Considerable
dangers can occur as a result of improper repairs.
