4 – Cleaning and adjusting the spark plug
a) Unscrew the screw and remove the upper
panel.
b) Remove the spark plug cap and unscrew
the spark plug.
c) Remove any deposit there, check for
discolouration (standard colour is brown)
and the distance between the poles. This
should be between 0.6 and 0.7 mm. If
necessary, adjust somewhat. If the spark
plug appears to be worn, replace it with
the same type: See the Technical data
table.
d) Screw the spark plug back in the opening
and replace the spark plug cap on the
spark plug.
e) Replace the upper panel.
5 – Filter fuel tank
a) Remove the tank cap and the filter
b) Wash the filter in a solvent; if it is damaged, it
must be replaced.
c) Rub the filter dry and replace it.
Warning: Ensure you close the fuel cap.
