Before starting

After take off of the packing your shred-
der is ready for use.
The indicated power supply has to be
the same as the one of the electric net-
work. Connect the unit by revolving the
strap at the outlet (240V).

Operation

GCheck that all parts have been
properly assembled!
GNo shredding residues must
be present inside the shredder!
GObserve the safety recommen-
dations - Wear ear protectors!
GAfter using the shredder for
about 1 hour, check that all
the blades are still properly
fixed. Tighten any loose
screws immediately!
GWhen connecting the shredder
to an extension lead, it must be
ensured that the cable lays loo-
sely on the ground and that no
tension is exerted on the
connecting socket of the garden
shredder.

Note:
In case of unfavourable mains condi-
tions, transient voltage fluctuations that
may affect other units can occur during
the switch on procedure. Such faults are
not expected with mains impedances
< 0.43 Ohm.

Shorten thick branches to
50-60 cm.
G Organic waste of all kinds can be
shredded.
G Remove soil and stones from roots.
Tough, glutinous materials should
be mixed with dry branches in order
to avoid blockages.
G After each use see that the shredder
is empty!
G After use for long periods check the
tightness of the blades!
G Always unplug the shredder after use!
G If the motor blocks, switch off imme-
diately!
