This chapter contains information about
the delivery status.

3.1 Delivery status

CAUTION

Some parts of the aerator roller have
sharp edges and could cause injury. It
is therefore important to observe the
following safety instructions:

assembly!

Switch off the MultiBrush device and
remove the device plug from the mains
power socket.
Follow the instructions in the Multi-
Brush device operating manual
when assembling the aerator roller.

Your MultiBrush device is installed as
shown, for example. Open the inter-
lock (D)
of the guide arm (E) as
shown in the illustration.

With the lock applied (D) remove the
guide arm (E) and then the surface
brush.
ATTENTION
To prevent motor damage caused
by contamination, assemble both of
the suction filters supplied as fol-
lows:

Click the suction filter (A1) onto
the guide arm as illustrated (E). It
is important to make sure that
the suction filter is installed cor-
rectly. If it is not installed cor-
rectly, the motor can overheat!

Click the suction filter (A2) onto
the ventilation slot on the housing
as illustrated (F).

Put the aerator roller (B) onto the
hexagonal drive and then the guide arm
(E), as illustrated, on the steering side of
the motor/gear unit.
NOTE!
During assembly, observe the arrows
of rotation on the aerator roller.

Now slide the lock (D) into open posi-
tion
, hold this and press the guide
arm (E) further onto the coupling shaft
up to the stop. Release the spring-load-
ed locking device (D). The guide arm
(E) is locked when the locking device
independently returns to its original
position
.
