Foam function: Using speci c detergents is in-
dispensable for foam production.
Always test on a hidden area of the material.
SAFETY DEVICE
WARNING: the gun is tted with a safety
catch. Whenever use of the machine is inter-
rupted it is important to operate the safety
catch to prevent accidental activation of the
jet.
The steam hose connections are equipped
with a double safety block .
POWER CONNECTION
The electric supply connection shall be made by a
qualified electrician and comply with IEC60364-1.
The appliance shall be connected to the electrical
network providing that the impedence:
Zmax = 0,11 Ohm (EN 61000-3-11:2000)
USAGE
STARTING UP
When preparing the appliance for use,
switch it o and unplug it!
- Fill the tank J with water ( g. 1)
Do not put any kind of detergent or chemi-
cal substance in the water tank!
- Fill the tank J1 with detergent ( g. 2)
- Put (◊,+, -,*) hose on (◊,+, -,*) hole on the tank
( g. 3)
This appliance is designed for use with the
detergent supplied or recommended by the
manufacturer. The use of other detergents
or chemicals may put the appliance's safety
at risk!
- Fit the nozzle H1 of the exible hose L in the
vacuum connection H ( g. 4-5-6)
Never use the appliance without a lter!

VACUUMING DUST
• Fit the most suitable accessory in the handle
of the exible hose L.
- Connect the device to a suitable electrical
outlet.
- Start vacuuming by pressing main switch B.
• press the suction button L1
Only model DSG-CAR 3 EXVF
(FOAM):
- To select the suction power (from level 1 to
level 4), press the remote suction button L1
on the handgrip at short intervals; the se-
lected suction power level LED indicator will
light up. It is possible to change the power
level both when the suction is on and o . To
switch the vacuum on and o , hold down
the remote suction button L1 for about two
seconds.
WASHING WITH DETERGENT INJECTION +
EXTRACTION, COLD MODE
• Insert in the Flex tube L handgrip the
accessory T6 Small nozzle (DETERGENT INJECTION/
EXTRACTION, COLD MODE).
• Connect the appliance to a suitable power
outlet.
• Switch ON the main switch B.
Model ETNA FR 4.1:
• Make sure the boiler is o and that the switch E is
in the OFF position
• Start the detergent injection pump with switch P:
(I) detergent
• To start the delivery, press lever L3.
• To start the suction function activate switch
L1.
It is possible to combine the DETERGENT INJECTION
AND SUCTION functions described above to
perform the washing and suction cycles at the
same time:
