7. Endo-Fix manufacturer´s warranty

All Endo-Fix handheld devices are carefully checked and tested before de-
livery. However, the manufacturer provides a guarantee against any material
or manufacturing faults. Any other warranty claims the purchaser may have
toward the vendor under the purchasing agreement as well as any other legal
rights are not affected by this warranty.
The guarantee is granted under the following conditions:
1. The guarantee is determined by the following rules (No.2-7) and includes
free repair of the device in the case of defects in the material or
manufacturing faults that verifiably appear within the warranty period.
2. The warranty period is 6 months. The warranty period begins on the date of
purchase by the first buyer. This date is determined by the date on the
original purchasing receipt.
3. Excluded from the warranty are:
- Parts that are subject to natural wear and tear or heavy usage.
- Faults in the device that are the result of not following the operating
instructions, improper use, abnormal environmental conditions, overload
or a lack of maintenance and care.
- Devices to which changes or additions have been made.
- Minor deviations from the stipulated condition and quality which are
irrelevant to the performance of the device.
4. Recognized warranty claims will be rectified at our discretion, either by a
non-chargeable repair or by replacing the faulty device with a new one. All
replaced devices or parts become our property.
5. The warranty must be claimed within the warranty period. The Endo-Fix
hand-held device must be sent to the service centre in its original case and
with the receipt containing the date of purchase. Partially or completely
opened or disassembled devices will not be covered under the warranty
agreement. Transport costs and transport risks are the buyer´s own liability.
6. Any other warranty claims than the claims listed here will not be covered
under our warranty.
7. The warranty period for the device will not be extended or renewed through
warranty-service.
This warranty is covered under German law (in Switzerland, Swiss law)
under the exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the
International Sale of Goods (CISG)
