4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

The Endo-Fix handheld device can be cleaned easily if it is dirty. The following
instructions should be followed when cleaning the device:
• Always disconnect the device from the power source before cleaning.
• Clean with a slightly damp cloth.
• If the vents are blocked, they can easily be cleaned with a dry paint brush.
• Do not use erosive liquids such as nitrocellulose lacquer or acid-based
products to clean the handheld device.
• Important: never immerse the handheld device in water!

4.2 Troubleshooting and solutions

You should always carry out the following procedure, in the same order, when
troubleshooting a problem with the device: check the socket, power plug,
power cord, switch, and then the hand-held device. Do not open the device
yourself, hand it over for repairs to an authorized service centre.
