Note: Not for use with NCIMS testing.
The 6 Min Read allows you to run a SNAP ST test with an automatic
read at 6 minutes.
1. Turn on the 6 Min Read option (see the "Settings" section).
2. On the Main screen, tap Read Test.
The same read type options (Full Read or Quick Read and
Beta-Lactam, Other or 3-Spot) are displayed.
3. Select the read type options you want and (if in Full Read mode)
enter the Lot, Tech, and Sample ID. The Run Test screen is displayed.
4. Start the SNAP ST assay by adding the milk sample to the reagent
tube and pouring the sample into the SNAP ST sample cup. As the
sample flow reaches the activation circle, activate the SNAP ST test.
5. Upon activation, immediately place the SNAP device in the
SNAPshot DSR reader, and then tap the OK button on the Run Test
screen.
The Developing Assay Sample screen is displayed with a timer that
begins a 6-minute count down.
6. After 6 minutes, the SNAPshot DSR Reader takes images of the
SNAP test and processes and displays the result.
