product description

DESCRIPTION OF APPLIANCES
CDZ, CD1 and CD2 storage tanks are designed for both the produc-
tion and storage of domestic hot water.
These tanks can be combined with both solar energy systems and
more common energy systems such as gas- or oil-fired boilers.
The tanks are protected by an enamel covering applied at 850°C, in
accordance with the requirements of DIN 4753.
CDZ and CD1 domestic hot water tanks have a 400 diameter manhole
CD1 800F and CD1 1000F domestic hot water tanks, as well as tanks
in the CD2 range, are equipped with a 110 mm diameter lateral flange
The tanks are heat-insulated using a soft insulating jacket (factory
fitted on 800L to 1000L versions, not fitted on 1500L to 3000L ver-
sions) comprising a 100 mm-thick thermally-bonded polyester panel
covered with:
• a soft grey PVC shroud on the B3 version,
• a soft grey PVC shroud (non-flammable) on the M1 version
On the non-fitted version, the assembly is supplied in 2 boxes:
• The tank is on a pallet covered in bubble wrap,
• The soft insulating jacket is covered in plastic film.

APPLIANCE SPECIFICATIONS

CDZ storage tanks
CDZ tanks are storage tanks with a capacity ranging from 800 to
3000 L.
The lateral flange must be equipped with an electrical resistor (sold
separately).
CD1 storage tanks
CD1 tanks have 1 exchanger built into their lower section allowing
heat delivered by the chosen energy source (solar collector/gas- or
oil-fired boiler) to be transferred to the domestic hot water in the tank
A connection point located above the exchanger can be used to
connect an auxiliary electrical device if the primary energy source
(mainly solar) is not sufficient (sold separately).
The 400 mm diameter lateral flange must be equipped with an elec-
trical resistor (sold separately). Only 800F and 1000F tanks cannot be
fitted with an electrical resistor (110 mm flange).
CD2 storage tanks with 2 exchangers
CD2 tanks have 2 built-in exchangers. The bottom exchanger allows
heat delivered by the solar collectors to be transferred to the domes-
tic hot water in the tank and the top exchanger allows heat from an
auxiliary energy source (gas- or oil-fired boiler) when the solar energy
is not sufficient.
A connection point located above the bottom exchanger can be used
to connect an auxiliary electrical device if the primary energy source
(mainly solar) is not sufficient and the auxiliary energy source on the
top coil is not available (e.g. Summer mode).
The specifications for the CDZ, CD1 and CD2 appliances are available
