6. QUICK SELECTION LOCATIONS
Choir Master has 64 memory locations. Songs saved in these locations can be
recalled pressing a QUICK SELECTION button on the front panel.
This saves time, as it is not necessary to look for the songs in the internal or
external memory. Songs can be saved in the Quick Selection locations, together
with their STOPS, TEMPO, TRANSPOSER and MUTE settings.
As already explained in par. 3.1, to select a song saved in a Quick Selection slot,
just press the [1] to [16] buttons.
Use the [BANK] button to select one out of 4 available memory banks.
The [A], [B], [C] and [D] LEDs show the current memory bank.
Songs can be saved in a quick selection slot using the [SET] button. To save a
song, load it and then press and hold the [SET] button. Then, press one of the
16 quick buttons. A pop-up message asks to confirm the operation. Release
the [SET] button to cancel the operation; press the Quick Selection button
again to confirm.
As described in par. 9.2, quick slots can be locked; locking a slot prevents its
content from being erased or modified. Pressing the [SET] button will light
the locked slots' LEDs. Attempting to overwrite a locked slot will produce the
following message:
