8.3 DELETING FILES OR FOLDERS

To delete one or more files or folders from a memory unit, select the DELETE
field under the FILE MANAGER menu. First, select the memory unit
containing the data you wish to delete:
The display shows the content of the root directory:
To see the content of a folder, locate the cursor on it using the [ ] and [ ]
buttons, then press [ENTER]. Press [EXIT] to quit the current folder.
On the second line from the top of the display there is a bracketed field.
Again, use the [+] and [-] buttons to switch between these options:
o [DELETE DIRECTORY]: deletes the selected folder and all its sub-
folders.
o [DELETE FILES]: deletes all files in the selected folder but not its sub-
folders.
Select the proper option and press [ENTER].
To delete a file, locate the cursor on it and press [ENTER].
