User Manual
The [BEAT] button will be off and the corresponding function not available.
The song can be played by pinpointing each syllable in time (or, in presence of
melisma, each note). When using "Cantus Planus" mode, the music score on
display is useful to control the progression of the song.
Press [PLAY] at any moment to reproduce the song in standard mode.
N.B.:
The [NOTE] button can be only used with Registration type songs (see
par. 5.5).
5.3 ADJUSTING THE PLAYING SPEED
The [SLOW] and [FAST] buttons can be found to the right of the display.
These buttons change the song's tempo. Using these buttons adjusts the tempo
by percentage. The current value is shown on screen. The original tempo,
multiplied by percent time makes the absolute time. A 100% tempo corresponds
to the original tempo of the song. If the value is below 100%, the [SLOW]
button glows green, meaning that the song is slowed down; if the value is
above 100%, the [FAST] button will glow green, meaning that the song tempo
has been increased.
Pressing the [SLOW] and [FAST] buttons at the same time will "lock" the
tempo. On the display, between the time signature and absolute tempo, a lock
will appear instead of the "=" symbol.
