 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
o Unplug the unit from the power supply.
o Place a small container or receptacle under the drainage port and clean the interior
with diluted detergent, warm water and a soft cloth.
o First pour the warm water with diluted detergent into the internal water tank and then
into the space below the top cover.
o Use this water and detergent solution to clean the rest of the ice maker's interior and
drain out the water by unplugging the drain cap located on the bottom of the unit.
o Dry the interior with a soft cloth.
o Use warm water and diluted detergent to clean the exterior of the ice maker.
o Dry the exterior with a soft cloth.
Note: To remove the build-up of calcium or other impurities, add a capful of vinegar or
lemon juice to the water in the water tank and run for two or three ice-making cycles. Drain
and refill the reservoir with clean, warm water. Run two more cycles to rinse the vinegar
or lemon-juice.
Warning: Do not clean the ice maker with flammable fluids or diluted agents such as acids,
gasoline or oil. The fumes can create a fire hazard or cause an explosion.
