 UNPACKING THE ICE MAKER
o
Remove all packaging material. Check that the ice basket and ice scoop are included.
If any parts are missing, please contact the after-sales service.
o
Clean the interior with lukewarm water and a soft cloth. Take out the ice basket and
clean it.
o
After unpacking/cleaning the ice maker, it must rest in an upright position for at least
one hour before you plug it in or the compressor may be damaged, shortening the
span of the unit.
 BEFORE FIRST USE
o
Place the ice maker in a location that is protected from direct sunlight and other heat
sources such as stoves and radiators.
o
The chosen location must be a level surface with a minimum of 10 cm space between
the back and sides of the unit and the wall.
o
Fully unwind the power cord.
o
Plug the appliance into a properly installed, grounded wall outlet.
o
Ensure that the plug is permanently and easily accessible.
 HOW TO OPERATE THE ICE MAKER
o
Open the lid, remove the ice bucket and pour clean water into the tank. Always keep
the water level below the maximum water level line.
o
Put the ice bucket back in the appliance.
o
Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel to begin the ice making cycle. The
POWER indicator lamp is on.
o
Select the ice cube size by pressing the SELECT button. If the room temperature is
lower than 16°C, it is recommended to select small size ice cubes in order to prevent
ice from sticking together.
o
The ice making cycle lasts approximately 6 to 13 minutes, depending on the selected
ice cube size and the room temperature. The ice maker makes 9 pieces of ice per
cycle.
