a) Accessories preparation
Respect the following steps:
b) Compressor preparation
Respect the following steps:
Connect the pressure tube to the pressure air outlet of the compressor.
Connect the vibrations tube to the vibrations outlet of the device.
Connect the device to the mains.
Start the device (switch on I).
c) Use
BLOW YOUR NOSE PROPERLY.
PHASE A: without overpressure – with sound vibrations (2 minutes)
As soon as the device is on, you should observe a mist coming out of the nebulizer.
Introduce the nasal plug air tightly into the nostrils.
Inhale calmly through the nose and exhale through the mouth for 2 minutes. Sound vibrations are emitted
shortly before the green light (4) comes on.
PHASE B: with overpressure and periodic sound vibrations (around 6 min.)
Set the initial pressure to 2 or 3 (knob 5). When the green light is on, the
overpressure is available.
Obstruct the additional air inlet of the nebulizing kit (5) with the thumb and
swallow.
Swallowing releases the overpressure. The light is off. Release the additional
air inlet of the nebulizing kit (5).
The patient must feel the release of the overpressure by a sensation of ear
fullness.
If not, try again after having increased the overpressure with the adjustment
knob (5). Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth until the
green light is on.
Before swallowing, it is recommended to gather one's saliva. If necessary, suck an acid drop or drink a sip of
water with a straw.
Insert the jet nozzle on the bottom part.
Pour the solution into the tank, do not exceed the "full" level.
Screw the top part to the tank.
Fix the adapted nasal plug (see. § 2b) to the nebulizing
kit.
Connect the pressure ("pression") narrow air tubing to
the inlet (1) of the nebulizing kit and the "vibrations"
large tube to the inlet (7) of the nebulizing kit.
