1. INTENDED USE

This device is a manosonic nebulizer with tubo-tympanic and sinus target. That is to say, it will allow
performing aerosoltherapy in the sinuses and the middle ear.
What is an aerosol?
An aerosol is an air suspension of fine liquid particles. Their size is below 10 microns.
Manosonic aerosols = with 100 Hz sound vibrations and overpressure.
Aerosol diffusion, especially in the sinuses, is greatly improved by the periodic emission of sound vibrations.
a) Indications
The MANOSONIC nebulizing system is indicated for treatment of tubo-tympanic pathologies:
- secretory otitis media or seromucous otitis,
- tubotympanic sequelae (like retraction pocket...).
b) Contra-indications
- Child under 4 years old,
- Patient with a patulous Eustachian tube,
- Patient with cleft lip and palate.
