Proper Use - gourmetmaxx KA-6510 Mode D'emploi

❐ Ensure that the connected power cable does not pose a risk of tripping. Don't let the cable
hang over the edges of tables or kitchen counters. Someone might get caught in the cable
and pull the appliance down.
❐ Lay the cable so that it will not be squeezed or kinked and does not make contact with any
hot surfaces.

Proper use

❐ Check the appliance for damage before every use. The appliance must not be used if the
appliance, the power cable or the plug show any visible signs of damage. Don not try to
repair the appliance yourself or to replace the power cable or the plug. In case of damage,
immediately contact the customer service.
❐ Before every use check whether the appliance is clean and dry and has been assembled and
closed correctly.
❐ Do not use any additional accessories. Only use accessories supplied by the manufacturer.
❐ The appliance must not be heated for more than 1 minute while it is empty. Do not let the
motor run when the appliance is empty.
❐ Ensure that the maximum fi lling quantity of 2 l (MAX marking in the food container) is not
exceeded!
❐ Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is in use.
❐ Do not transport the appliance while it is in use.
❐ Hold the measuring cup steady when working with a motor speed of 5 or higher, or with
the "Turbo" function.
❐ Never use the stir insert without blade protection.
❐ When using the stir insert, do not operate the appliance at motor speeds exceeding 4.
❐ Do not drop the appliance and do not subject it to heavy shocks.
❐ Do not subject the appliance to extreme temperatures, extreme temperature fl uctuations,
moisture or direct sunlight.
❐ When removing the strainer basket from the food container, place it on a heat resistant
surface. e. g. casserole stand.
❐ Do not place any easily infl ammable objects e. g. paper, cardboard or plastic into or on top
of the appliance.
❐ Pull the plug out of the plug socket:
– when the appliance is not used,
– if a fault occurs during operation,
– before an electrical storm,
– before taking out and/or removing accessories,
– before cleaning the appliance or accessories.
❐ If you want to pull the plug out of the plug socket, always pull on the plug and never on the
cable.
❐ Never touch the appliance, the power cable or the plug with wet hands.
❐ Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning it.
❐ The stirrer blade and the base unit are not dishwasher-proof!
