MATERIALS
A 1 Mainframe
D 4 M12 x 50x1.25 fine pitch bolts, Washers and Lock washers.
E 2 Spacers
ZN Neck Option.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball, which
dimensionally conforms to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
FITTING
1. No requirement to remove the bumper or crash beam. ( unless required to fit electrical kit )
2. Remove fixings at bottom edge of bumper and plastic under tray if present.
3. Locate threaded towing mounting points either side on inside of chassis. Remove exhaust mounting and heat shield
Pull back bumper to allow the crossbar "A" to be mounted to the chassis using fixings "D" and spacers "E", Bend or cut
4.
heatshield on offside to allow fitment of tow bar endplate. Note: It may be difficult to locate rearward fixing of "D" due to
bumper location pin.(if so use smaller washers provided.
5. Cut bumper as per instruction below.
6. Tighten all fixings to correct torque and replace all bumper fixings.
7. Fit chosen neck option
Recommended torque settings: Grade 8.8 bolts: M8 - 24Nm, M10 - 52 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M14 - 130 Nm, M16 - 200
Nm Grade 10.9: M12 – 120Nm, M10 – 70Nm M8- 35Nm
