20. Only use an extension cord in good condition, with a plug that is grounded, and with
a cord whose diameter is the same as that of the cord that came with the product.
21. Unplug the power cord from the power supply before any maintenance cleaning or
accessory installation.
22. To avoid electric shock, do not submerge the cord, the plug, or the appliance in wa-
ter or any other liquid.
23. The temperature of exposed surfaces may be high when the appliance is in use.
24. Never immerse the appliance in water, or any other liquid, to clean it.
25. Do not place the appliance near any heat source, (a gas burner, for example), or near
electrical components or a fan. Do not place on top of other appliances.
26. In spite of high levels of thermal protection, this appliance operates at elevated tem-
peratures that can cause burns.
27. Do not touch the metal parts or the glass.
28. The temperature of the door and of the exterior surfaces may be elevated when the
appliance is in use.
29. Exercise extreme caution when removing the drip pan. There could be hot grease
deposits inside. Use the appropriate handle when inserting or removing it from the
oven.
30. Use the handles. Use an oven mitt if necessary.
31. Be careful when handling the door to your oven. Do not spray water on the glass
door while in use, nor immediately after use: any sudden shock or excessive thermal
stress (like a change in temperature) can cause the glass to break. This is tempered
glass, which avoids any risk of projectiles or danger for the user.
32. In the event that any part of the appliance catches fire, never try to extinguish it with
water. Smother the flames with a damp cloth. Unplug the appliance and do not open
the door.
33. Do not store flammable products near or beneath the cabinet where your appliance
is situated.
34. Do not operate the appliance beneath a wall cabinet, a shelf, or near flammable ma-
terials such as blinds, curtains, or drapes.
35. Never place combustible materials inside the appliance, such as paper, cardboard,
candles, plastic, or any other flammable materials. Do not place anything on top of
the appliance (utensils, grill, objects).
36. Do not place heavy objects on the open door.
37. Do not put aluminum foil beneath the appliance to protect the work surface, nor
between the heating elements, nor in contact with the interior walls, as this could
seriously harm the functions and cause the oven to overheat.
38. Never block or insert anything into the air vents.
39. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents (notably those containing baking soda).
Do not use abrasive sponges or metal scouring pads. Do not use special cleaning
agents made for metals.
40. For your safety, never disassemble the unit yourself. Contact an authorized service
center.
Make sure the unit is disconnected from the power supply before replacing the lamp if
your camera is equipped to avoid the risk of electric shock. This appliance is intended
