12. Troubleshooting
By purchasing the digital radio DVR set, you have acquired a product designed to the state of the art and
operationally reliable. Nevertheless, problems or errors may occur. Therefore, observe the following infor-
mation about troubleshooting.
Radio camera image is not displayed
• Each radio camera (up to 4 are possible) must be logged on to the DVR. This process is also called „Pai-
ring". Observe chapter 11 c), function „Pairing".
The radio camera enclosed with the DVR-set usually has already been paired by the manufacturer (ca-
mera/channel 1). If no image appears anyway simply perform pairing again.
• Test the function by operating DVR and radio camera at a distance of no more than 2 m. If required,
perform the login („pairing") again; see above.
• Check if the channel for the radio camera was switched off, see chapter 11 c), function „Activation". If
this is the case, switch on the channel again.
• Pick the right radio camera/channel.
• Check if the radio camera is supplied with power through the plug-in mains adapter.
• Check if the aerial of the DVR or radio camera is screwed on correctly.
• Observe Chapter 13.
Motion detection is not working correctly
• Use a different sensitivity setting.
• Align the radio camera differently.
• The motion detection is based on the quantity of changing image parts in the monitoring area. If, e.g.,
leaves of a tree or bush are moving, this is recognised as movement and the recording is started.
Quickly changing brightness situations (sun/clouds) may be recognised as motion and the recording may
be started.
SD/SDHC memory card is not recognised
• The DVR can only be operated with SD memory cards up to 2GByte or SDHC memory cards up to 32GByte.
Use of SDXC memory cards is not possible.
• Format the SD/SDHC memory card with the corresponding function of the DVR, see chapter 11 e), func-
tion „SD format".
