Outdoor multiple socket outlet with spike

Entry into service

Step

For the GS 2 DE and GS 4 DE models, the spike is separate and must be screwed
to the garden outlet prior to use.

Secure the socket outlet in the ground with the pointed spike.
WARNING: Observe the safety precautions, particularly those relating to the
location of the product.

Pulling out the socket outlet
WARNING: Before pulling the socket outlet out of the ground, disconnect it
from the mains power supply. In addition, unplug all the electrical appliances
connected to it.
Only use the handle to remove socket outlet from the ground.

Replacing the connecting lead

Outdoor multiple socket outlets can be connected and disconnected repeatedly.
The connecting lead may only be replaced by a qualified technician!

Description
Before opening up the socket outlet housing disconnect it from
the power supply.
When replacing the connecting lead, use only the following
type: HO7RN-F 3G1.5 of approx. 1.5 m to 10 m in length and
with a plug complying with type of protection IP 44.
Connect the green/yellow earth lead to the designated terminal
with the earth lead mark. The cores of the earth lead are 8 mm
longer than would be needed for the other cores.
The live wires (L and N) should be led to the terminals by the
shortest possible route and connected.
Connecting the wires to the terminals must be undertaken with
care. No wire must be left outside the terminals.
