10. Choose one of the functions described below (boil water, heat up water, keep-warm
function, 3-minute boil function). After the end of the function, take the kettle off the
base station and carefully pour the water or tea into a vessel.
All functions can be cancelled at any time by pressing the

Boiling Water
Press the button (13) for a short time. The device switches on and heats the water up
to 100°C. The LED lighting (5) is lit constantly red.
The device switches off automatically when the water has boiled.
Heating Up (Not Boiling) Water

Depending on the temperature, the LED lighting (5) has the following colours:
60°C green
70°C blue
80°C yellow
90°C purple
NOTE: The display initially briefl y shows the selected temperature and then the actual

The device switches off automatically once the water has reached the set temperature.
Keep-Warm Function
Heat up water and keep it warm:
• Keep the button (13) pressed down for approx. 2 seconds until the LED lighting (5)
fl ashes.
If you do not want the water to boil, then use the + button (12) to set the temperature

you want. The LED lighting fl ashes in the appropriate colour.
If the + button is not pressed, the water is boiled up to 100°C.

5. Grip the tea strainer (7) by its handle and take it out of the
kettle.
6. Pour drinking water into the kettle. Make sure that the
amount of water is between 0.5 litres (MIN marking) and
1.7 litres (MAX marking). Insuffi cient water will cause the
device to switch off prematurely. If the MAX marking is ex-
ceeded, water could splash out during the boiling process.
7. To make tea, place the tea in the tea strainer and insert it
into the kettle. Skip this step if you just want to heat water.
8. Insert the lid into the ring insert (1) of the kettle. The ring
insert and the lid must fi t correctly so that the kettle switch-
es off automatically.
9. Place the kettle on the base station. The display (11) is
activated. Initially it displays ON and then the water tem-
perature.
