This tool is intended for projecting and checking
horizontal and vertical lines/planes as well as (plumb)
points
Carefully read this instruction manual as well as the
warning label on the tool, before you use the tool 1

USE
Mounting of batteries 4
- open cover M
- insert 2 x D (LR20) / 1,5V batteries (pay attention to
correct polarisation)
- close cover M and ensure it is in place securely
- always remove the batteries from the tool, if the tool
is not used for a long period
- replace the batteries when the built-in buzzer starts
sounding
- always replace the complete set of batteries
Operating the tool 5
- place the tool in horizontal or vertical position on a flat
surface or on the tripod supplied with the tool
- level the tool (see relevant paragraphs)
- switch on the tool by pressing button A
- when switching on, light D 3 turns on indicating that
the tool is in the projecting mode
- press button B to activate rotary head (light D 3 turns
off)
- the tool starts with the lowest rotational speed
- repeated pressing of button B increases the speed in
6 steps to the highest rotational speed
- the projected points turn more and more into a line as
the rotational speed increases
- repeated pressing of button C decreases the speed in
6 steps to a standstill
- project a horizontal or vertical line/plane
- make measurements using the projected line/plane/
point as reference
- switch off the tool by pressing button A
! do not look into the laser beam
! do not point the laser beam at persons or animals
! always switch off the tool after use
Leveling of tool in horizontal position 6 7
- place the tool in horizontal position (with base-plate F
beneath) on a flat surface or on the tripod
- level the tool by turning adjustment knobs H and J in
such a way that the bubbles in levels K are centered
! check the leveling after each adjustment
Leveling of tool in vertical position 8 9
- place the tool in vertical position (with side-plate G
beneath) on a flat surface or on the tripod
- level the tool by turning adjustment knob J in such a
way that the bubble in level L is centered
! check the leveling after each adjustment
