RANGER 1000 SERIES
6. CALIBRATION
For best results, calibrate the scale at regular intervals. Temperature changes,
gravity variations, altitude changes and abuse are few reasons why a scale may
need recalibration.
When the scale is ideally positioned for operation, enter calibration and proceed as
follows:
Long-press ZERO and UNIT at the same time to initiate
calibration. The required calibration weight flashes on the
display (ex. 3000g).
At this time, a different calibration weight value can be selected by pressing UNIT.
Available selections are 1/3, 2/3 and 100% of full capacity.
Once the desired value is displayed, place the corresponding weight on the pan.
The display flashes until the actual weight is registered and the calibration process
ends (the scale re-starts). At this time, remove the weight on the pan before the
display count-down sequence ends.
Notes:
•
The calibration can be performed only when the unit is g, kg or lb.
The calibration weight value can be changed by pressing UNIT key when
•
the value is flickering: 1/3 Max, 2/3 Max or 3/3 Max.
7. RESTORE TO FACTORY SETTINGS
During the self-testing period after power on, press Tare and UNIT key at the same
time to reset the scale. The scale will now be restored to factory settings.
