Chocolate tasting tips
We recommend that you leave the chocolate 5 minutes at room temperature before serving.
To preserve the taste buds, it is advisable to start your tasting chocolates by the lower cocoa
content until the highest (from white chocolate to dark chocolate). To experience maximum
flavors, choose a glass of water to drink between each chocolate.
If chocolates are of exceptional quality, tea or coffee will be pleasant companions, as well as old
alcohols such as cognac or Armagnac * that will arise from communions amazing flavors.
(* Drinking in moderation).
Do not hesitate to ask your chocolate maker that will give you great tasting tips depending on the
type of chocolate.
As for the ideal moment of tasting, only your appetite and cravings judge when to consume your
precious chocolates.
Enjoy!
