5. Accessories
Standard is the liftchair Ontario single motor
delivered with two wheels for mounting on the back
side of the lower frame and two small leg levelers
for mounting on the front side of the lower frame.
Ontario Dual motor has four wheels.
Option - two big leg levelers for back side of the
lower frame (Both for single or dual motor).
Use only Vermeiren approved accessories.
6. Entrapment zones
In the figure below the different entrapment zones
(area 1 until 4) of the liftchair are indicated. Make
sure that your fingers, jewelry or clothes
cannot become pinched in these zones.
7. Check after delivery
Unpack your product and verify if the delivery is
complete. Following items should be included:
Seat, armrests, legrest and lower frame
Backrest
Headrest cover
Single motor - 2 wheels + 2 leg levelers
(Option: 4 leg levelers)
Dual motor - 4 wheels (Option: 2 wheels and 2
leg levelers)
Manual control
Manual
Verify your product for transport damage. If you
find any damages after delivery proceed as
follows:
contact the transporter
have a list made of any problems
contact your supplier
8. Assembly
The liftchair is delivered fully assembled with
exception of the backrest and the wheels, which
are easy to mount on the liftchair.
When transporting the liftchair in a vehicle you can
dismount the wheels and backrest or place the
complete liftchair in the vehicle.
Store the separate parts (wheels and backrest)
safely.
Grasp the seat on the lower frame (not on the
armrests, backrest) and place these in the vehicle
with 2 persons.

8.1. Mounting backrest
Mount the loose upholstery of the backrest with the
velcro strips to the lower frame.
8.2. Removing backrest
Remove the loose upholstery of the backrest with
the velcro strips from the lower frame.
Use a flat head screwdriver, and place these
against the locking clip. Pull these locking clip
upwards. At the same time pull on the backrest
until the two connections plate come loose from
each other.
Lift the backrest out the lower frame.

8.3 Mounting wheels
Standard are two wheels delivered with your
liftchair. Mount these two wheels on the back side
of the lower frame.
9. Use
These liftchair can be used for elderly people and
persons with weak legs. The liftchair gives a better
seating comfort and it is easier to come out the
chair.
The liftchair is only for indoor use.
The liftchair will touch the ground when the lifchair
is in the seating position (liftchair can be moved).
The wheels will be blocked when using the lift-
function (liftchair cannot be moved).
You can place the liftchair in a lift function or lay
back function with the buttons on the manual
control. These shall be only operated by the
intended user.
Place the backrest with the
two sleeves on the plates
mounted on the seat.

Push on the topside of the
backrest until it click in
place.

Check that the backrest is
firmly fixated, by pulling
softly on the backrest. If the
backrest come loose repeat
the steps above.
