Introduction
Congratulations on purchasing your Crescendo 50 amplifier. You have selec-
ted a modern and reliable system. Please read the operating instructions tho-
roughly before use in order to familiarise yourself with the amplifier and
benefit from all the capabilities of the system.
The Crescendo 50 receives sound from either the built-in or external micro-
phone and amplifies it. The amplifier can also receive sound from the output
of other audio equipment. The amplifier is equipped with a pick up coil which
enables you to receive signals from an inductive loop system.

Inserting batteries
The amplifier is operated with 2 AA batteries (Type LR6 or AA).
The battery compartment is located at the back of the amplifier.
To insert the batteries:
1. Open the battery compartment by pressing in the clip at the end of the
unit and lift the cover off.
2. Insert the two batteries according to the polarity marks.
3. Close the battery compartment.
