SAFETY RULES

a) Ensure that this instruction manual is given to the user.
b) Read this manual carefully before using the machine to guarantee safe and efficient use.
c) Keep this manual in a place to which the operator always has access as and when he requires.
d) Always comply with the safety precautions described in this manual in order to prevent accidents such as
fire, electric shocks and injuries.
e) Carefully read these safety precautions before using the machine and operate the machine according
to the instructions.
f) Do not use the machine in any way other than that described in this instruction manual.
Definition of DANGER and CAUTION.
This manual classifies the warning signs according to DANGER and CAUTION.
DANGER: This refers to actions which could be fatal or result in serious injury for the user if the machine
is not used correctly.
CAUTION: This refers to actions which could result in injury for the user or material damage if the
machine is not used correctly. Even some aspects described as CAUTION can have serious
consequences under certain circumstances. You must strictly adhere to these warnings since they have a
direct impact on safety.
g) In the event of loss or damage to the instruction manual immediately order another from our distributor or
vendor.

quality, features or safety standards. In these cases the content, photographs, illustrations, etc. in this

WARNING
1. Use the correct voltage.
•
Use the voltage indicated on the equipment nameplate or in the manual. If the supply voltage is different from the
voltage indicated overheating, smoke or fire could result.
2. Verify that the switch is in the OFF position before inserting the plug in the electric power supply socket.
•
If the plug is inserted in the power supply socket in the ON position the machine could start up unexpectedly and
cause an accident. Ensure that the switch is in the OFF position.
3. Avoid electric shocks.
•
Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
•
Do not use the machine in the rain or in areas where the machine could get wet.
•
Earth the machine to avoid electric shocks.
4. Take into account the conditions in the workplace.
•
Do not use the machine in the rain, in wet areas or in areas where the machine could get wet easily. Moisture
could impair the motor insulation and result in electric shocks.
•
Do not use the machine near liquids or flammable gases such as petrol and solvents. Fire or explosions could result.
5. Use the specified accessories and attachments.
•
Do not use accessories or attachments other than those specified in the instruction manual or in our catalogues.
Accidents or injuries could result.
6. Turn the main unit to the OFF position and disconnect the plug from the power supply socket in the
following cases.
•
When the machine is not being used or when parts are being changed, repaired, cleaned or inspected.
•
When the accessories are being changed.
•
When swarf or other foreign bodies are being removed.
•
When connecting the plug, the main unit could start up unexpectedly and cause an accident.
