How to use

Your Flippi
air circulator is completely assembled and ready for immediate use. Simply plug
in Flippi and enjoy its cooling effect. Thanks to Flippi's small size and easy use, it can be
used to provide a cool breeze in almost any space. Flippi features Vornado's signature Vortex
Technology to move a tight beam of air out 20 to 40 feet, depending on the model. Flippi
was engineered to provide just the right amount of air, either directed at you to create a nice
breeze, or away from you to create swirling currents of air, rejuvinating your personal space.

Fan Speed

Models V6 and V8 come with two speed settings; set to "I" for
Low speed, "II" for High speed, and "O" for OFF. Model V10 has 3 speeds,
set "I" for Low, "II" for Medium,"III" for High, and "O" for OFF. Select
the speed that gives you just the right amount of air, from a whisper quiet
gentle breeze to a powerful rush of air.
Oscillation
Models V8 and V10 feature oscillation for more airflow possibilities. Oscillation
on the V8 and V10 can be turned on or off with the rocker switch on the back of
the base of the unit. Press (O) to turn oscillation ON and (I) to turn oscillation OFF.
Direct Airflow
The power head can be adjusted to various angles for additional
airflow options. In the warm months, position the beam of air directly
at you, across the room, or up towards the ceiling, to create an even
temperature throughout the room. In the winter, direct Flippi's beam of
air up and set at low speed to circulate warm air down off the ceiling to
create an even temperature from floor to ceiling. For a clean and unobtrusive
look when not in use, the head can be pointed straight down into the
"nested" position. Do not operate the fan when in the nested position,
as no air will be circulated. Position Flippi away from objects that may
block airflow from the back or from the front. If using Flippi on an elevated
surface, use caution in positioning it to minimize the possibility of it falling
from that surface.
