OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Plug unit into an appropriate electrical outlet.
Press the Power Button

the dehumidifier is operational.
HUMIDITY SETTING
Pressing the Humidity Control Button

dehumidifier to automatically switch on when the

automatically switch off when the desired level has

WATER TANK FULL

automatically switch off.
Remove the Water Tank from the front of the
dehumidifier and empty it. Re-insert the empty Water
Tank to resume operation.
AUTOMATIC DEFROST
When defrosting of the compressor is required, the
dehumidifier will automatically switch off and begin
its defrosting cycle. The defrost light
Status Lights will illuminate.
The dehumidifier will resume operation once
defrosting is complete.
OPERATIONAL MODE

CONTINUOUS: This mode overrides the humidity
setting currently seen on the Humidity Display, and
runs the unit continuously at full power.

Note: The Humidity Control Button cannot be

AUTOMATIC: This mode runs the dehumidifier
until the humidity level on the Humidity Display is
achieved. The unit will switch on an off automatically
to maintain the displayed humidity level.

QUIET: This mode runs the dehumidifier until the
humidity level on the Humidity Display is acquired,
but reduces the fan speed to operate more quietly.
This reduces the dehumidifier's efficiency, and can
take the unit longer to achieve the humidity setting.

The timer operates the dehumidifier for the preset
length of time, and automatically switches the unit
off after the allotted time has passed. Pressing the
Timer Button
cycles through the 2-hour, 4-hour
and 8-hour options. When none of the Timer lights
are illuminated, the dehumidifier will run continuously
according to its current mode setting.
DRAINAGE HOSE
Inserting the supplied drainage hose into the
Drainage Port on the back of the dehumidifier will
redirect collected water, allowing for continuous
drainage without the need to manually empty the
Water Tank. Place the open end of the drainage
hose into a suitable receptacle or drain to remove
the outgoing water from the dehumidifier.
NOTE: The drainage hose must be lower than the
drainage port for proper operation. Small amounts
of water may still collect in the tank even when
continuous drainage is in use.
WARM AIR COMING FROM OUTLET

This is normal operation, caused by heat exchange
while the compressor is on.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Turn the unit off and unplug it from the electrical
outlet.
2. Remove, empty and rinse the Water Tank with
warm water.
3. Use a soft clean cloth to wipe the unit. Do not
use gasoline, paint thinner or other cleaning
products to clean the unit.
4. To clean the filter, carefully remove if from the
back of the dehumidifier and clean it with a
vacuum cleaner or rinse with cool water. Allow to
dry thoroughly before replacing.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
When the dehumidifier is not in use:
1. Turn the dehumidifier off and unplug it from the
electrical outlet.
2. Clean and dry the dehumidifier thoroughly as per
the cleaning instructions.
3. Make sure all parts are dry before storing. Do
not store with any water in the tank.
4. Store upright in a cool, dry location.
