• Do not make modifications of any kind to this
appliance.
• Do not expose the appliance to the weather (rain,
sun, etc.).

• Regularly inspect the appliance for visible defects. If
any faults are found, do not operate the appliance;
contact Vortice immediately.
• The electrical system to which the appliance is
connected must conform to applicable standards.
• The appliance must be installed by professionally
qualified personnel.
• The appliance must be connected to an efficient
earthing system in accordance with applicable
electrical safety standards. If in doubt, ask a
qualified electrician to check your system.
• Connect the appliance to a fixed power supply
network with an impedance lower or equal at
|Z|=0,333Ω.
• Connect the device as shown in the wiring diagram
(fig. 4)
• Check that the electrical power supply/socket
provides the maximum electrical power required by
the appliance. If it cannot do so, arrange for a
qualified electrician to make the necessary
modifications.
• When installing the appliance, fit a multi-pole
thermomagnetic cutout, with a contact gap of at
least 3 mm.
• Should the appliance be dropped or suffer a heavy
blow, have it checked immediately by Vortice.
• Switch the appliance off immediately if it
malfunctions or develops a fault. Then contact
Vortice immediately. Ensure that only genuine

• Switch off the appliance at the installation's main

correctly; b) if the appliance is not to be used for any

• Do not use the regulator for fluorescent or energy

Cable renewal must be performed by professionally
qualified personnel. Use a cable with T90
characteristics.
• The regulator has been designed solely for use in
closed rooms.
• The regulator must be installed in a dry place.
Industrial installations require observance of the
safety regulations in force in the country of
installation.
• Pay special attention when using it in rooms that are
not manned.
• The appliance's safety guard has been specially
designed to prevent direct access to the heater
elements; this guard must be kept in position at all
times during operation.
Installation
RTSP must always be secured, with screws and
plugs, on vertical walls and on non-flammable and/or
indeformable surfaces (e.g., tiled walls).
The controller must be positioned at a distance of not
less than 2 m from objects made of flammable
materials, such as cardboard or fabric, and from glass
doors and windows.
The regulator must not be fitted inside containers or
cabinets because a lack of ventilation would damage
it.
The dissipator heats up during operation; fitting the
regulator in contact with flammable surfaces is a fire
hazard.
If installation on wooden, laminate or wallpapered
walls is required, it is necessary to leave a gap of at
least 10 mm between the dissipator and the wall to
ensure proper ventilation.
