In the event that a functional defect or a defect of the surface finish of the insert occurs during the warranty pe-
riod, never repair it yourself (only with the consent of the manufacturer). Warranty and post-warranty repairs are
arranged by the manufacturer, who can be contacted directly or through the sales representatives – partners. The
manufacturer does not assume liability for damage or defects of the products or their parts caused by:
• wrong choice of heater output for the given building (overheating or underheating of the room)
• non-compliance with the applicable construction regulations
• incorrect installation and connection of the appliance
• insufficient or excessive draught from the chimney (connection must be made according to valid standards)
• modifications or other, in particular additional, changes to the fireplace or flue gas outlet
• intervention or changes to the appliance made by persons not authorized to do so by the manufacturer
• not following the instructions in the Operation Manual
• additional installation of spare parts and accessories that are not a product of HS Flamingo s.r.o.
• using unsuitable fuels
• bad operation, overloading of the appliance and consequent damage to the structure and surface finish of the
heater (e.g. burnt-through deflectors, deformation of the product structure
• unprofessional handling, mechanical damage caused by excessive force, and improper storage
• insufficient care or use of unsuitable cleaning agents
• unavoidable event (floods, etc.)
8.4. Complaint procedure
When making a complaint, it is necessary to state the type and serial number of the product, your exact address,
telephone number and to describe the defect. Complaints will be resolved only if a duly completed warranty card
with the date of sale and the stamp of the shop or a sales receipt (or invoice) is attached. When purchasing, it is
in your own interest to request a legibly completed warranty card (part of this Manual). The method and place of
repair will be decided by the service department after the assessment of the defect, and the proposed measures
will be consulted with the owner of the appliance. The relevant provisions of the Civil Code and the Complaints
Procedure apply to the replacement of the product or cancellation of the purchase contract.
9. PACKAGING OF FIREPLACE INSERTS – WASTE DISPOSAL
Fireplace inserts are supplied on a wooden transport base and are protected against the weather conditions by PE
film and a paper box. Stabilization and coherence of the entire packaging for storage and transport is guaranteed
by the use of metal or plastic tape.
Disposal of the packaging: Use the wooden battens and base for heating. Dispose of the steel tape at a metal
waste collection point. Dispose of the PE packaging and the paper box for recycling. Disposal of the heater: When
disposing of the fireplace insert, dispose of the vermiculite, glass and sealing cords in the municipal solid waste,
and of the metal body or other metal parts at a metal waste collection point.
