5.6.16 PREPARING FOR STORAGE

6 MAINTENANCE

6.1 SAFETY WARNINGS

DANGER
Observe the safety instructions, the intervals and the
procedures indicated in the routine maintenance.
Proceed with maintenance and cleaning operations
always after putting the machine in a safety position
(see "6.2 Machine in safety position").
Leave at least a one meter space around the machine
when performing maintenance operations.
Before starting the machine, after repairs, for testing,
check that no-one stands or passes in the working zone
of the blades. Always clamp the raised component to
prevent it from falling.

Never work alone under the machine or when carrying
out repair or maintenance operations.
It is not proper that, in case of breakdown or malfun-
CAUTION
Never carry out welding, grinding and drilling opera-
tions without prior authorization and instructions from
the Manufacturer.

6.2 MACHINE IN SAFETY POSITION

DANGER
Park the machine on a horizontal and stable surface.
Disengage PTO. Turn the tractor off. Put the parking
brake on. Remove the keys from the dashboard.
Remove the PTO shaft from the tractor PTO. Place the
PTO shaft on its support.
Unhitch the machine from the tractor power-lift unit.
