2 INITIAL OPERATION

2.1 Before starting
Safety precautions and operating instructions must be carefully read and observed before setting up and operating.
2.2. First time operation
Before operating, local safety requirements must be met and safety precautions must be observed.
Before operating the unit for the first time, rotate the pump by hand several times at the ventillating fan in the
direction shown.
Do not set a defective unit into operation.
Warning
Display the Safety Instructions in a clearly visible manner.
Keep the Operating Instructions available.
The water temperature must not exceed 35°C.
INSTALLING THE WALL NICHE IN CONCRETE SHUTTERED POOLS
• Installation (picture number 1 red bronze version)
Position the wall niches of the jet nozzles as shown in the drawings
Function
Position first stage wall and wall components flush with structural concrete. Remove protective covers only when ready to lay tiles/
mosaics. In the case of a concrete/liner pool first stage components may project in order to compensate for cement render or liner
insulation thickness. First stage components must be accessible from the outside of the pool wall to allow for the installation of
pipes and air suction lines later. Locate the pneumatic switch housing in a convenient position 15-20 cm below water level. After
having installed the first jet, the others (3 - 5) should be located either at a laterial distance approx. 1.5 m from the first, either in a
straight line horizontally at approx. 1.5 m from the last jet or diagonally to a distance of 60 cm from the bottom of the pool. It is
advisable to make provision for protecting the pneumatic tube (PVC 2/4 dia.) and air inlet tubes (PVC 12/21 dia.) by placing in
protective conduit or through adjacent cable/ventilation ducts.
